Knowledge Graph, World Publishing & Frame Workflow
A major Knowledge Graph update focused on controlled player reveals, cleaner logical entities, stronger frame behavior, and a more reliable graph workflow for both DMs and players.
New
- Relationships can now be published to the Player World Graph independently from their connected nodes.
- Published relationships can reveal one or both hidden endpoints as ??? until the matching World Lore item becomes available.
- Published relationships display a green P indicator on the DM Knowledge Graph.
- Shops, quests, and encounters can be published to World Lore and can resolve published relationship endpoints.
- Standalone World Lore entries can be used directly as first-class DM Graph nodes without requiring a duplicate Codex entry.
- Graph movement supports multi-select for nodes and frames, grouped movement, and Ctrl/Cmd + Z movement undo.
- Realm20 now has a public Updates page with a sidebar link and NEW indicator for unseen releases.
Improved
- Published World copies are hidden as duplicate DM Graph entities when a private Codex, shop, quest, or encounter already represents the same logical campaign object.
- Standalone active World Lore nodes remain visible on the DM Graph and are marked as player-visible.
- Collapsed frames preserve their expanded geometry and move their captured nodes with them.
- Collapsed frame cards can be arranged side by side for quick reading while expanded frames reopen into the nearest available non-overlapping position.
- Frame ownership is exclusive: Capture Unassigned Nodes will not steal nodes from another open or collapsed frame.
- Capture Unassigned Nodes is unavailable while a frame is collapsed because its expanded capture bounds are not visible.
- Relationship lists in both graph inspectors are independently scrollable.
- Graph canvas boundaries are clearly visible across light and dark Realm20 themes.
Fixed
- Reopening a collapsed frame no longer loses its intended expanded location.
- Moving a collapsed frame no longer drops or releases its captured nodes.
- Moving selected frames and nodes together preserves frame membership.
- Reopening nearby collapsed frames now avoids overlapping other open frames when a free position is available.
- Published graph-node World types now resolve correctly to the database world_entry_type enum.
- The Updates page now preserves the signed-in session and returns authenticated users to the dashboard instead of presenting a sign-in flow.
